JAKE FOX
Jake has been playing box lacrosse in Canada since the age of seven. Growing up playing for the Gloucester Griffins in his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario, Jake made the jump to junior at the age of 14 playing for the Griffins Junior B program.
After two years with the organization as an underaged player, Jake was drafted to Junior A as a member of the Peterborough Jr A Lakers. During his five years with the team, Jake went on to captain the Lakers in his final season while finishing top 10 in the league in goals, assists, points and penalty minutes.
During and after his junior career Jake became of member of Major Series Lacrosse's Peterborough Century 21 Lakers and won the coveted Mann Cup in 2018. During this time he was also a student-athlete with the Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays and also represented the Iroquois Nationals at the 2018 FIL World Championships, winning Bronze.
This past summer he was traded to the Brooklin Lacrosse Club of the MSL where he finished second on the team in scoring while preparation for the NLL entry draft.
Jake was selected 19th overall by the New York Riptide.
